Celebrating Success

Here at Fox Hill Primary School we would like to share with you the children’s successes!

Celebration Assembly

Once a week we hold a celebration assembly where children are recognised for their attitudes, behaviour and effort in class. Birthdays are celebrated and staff share which children have been nominated as the week’s Outstanding Learning. The Children then receive a certificate to take home. 

Head Teacher's Award - Hot Chocolate Fridays

Our reward system in school allows children to work towards a Gold award.  

Children can move to Gold for exceptional work or for making a real difference, including being great ambassadors of the school. This award is given for children who go Over and Above in their behaviour, attitudes and effort. 

Following a suggestion by one of the children, in the warmer weather the children can enjoy a cold chocolate milkshake.

We all, especially Miss Lane, looks forward to Hot Chocolate Fridays! Miss Lane says that it is the highlight of her week! 

Feedback from the children

It encourages other people to do better and work harder.

Rewarding children and make them try their best is great.

I feel excited when I get to Gold.

I feel proud of myself and how I have done in my learning. Having the Gold motivates me to do better.

It feels really good, like you have accomplished something. It is nice to have the time to talk to the Headteacher.
